AdOLFO RODRÍGUEZ

Adolfo Rodríguez began writing in 2015. He combines literature with his work as a nurse in the Burns and Plastic Surgery Unit at the General Hospital of Alicante. He has also been a physiotherapist since 2008.

He was born in Jerez de la Frontera but has lived in Alicante since a young age. During his high school years, he discovered his passion for writing stories, and years later, he fulfilled his dream by debuting with his first novel: El viaje de Hugo (2015), which reached number 1 in sales in its category on Amazon Spain. A year later, he published Engañando a la muerte (2016).

In 2021, he published La Gran Implosión, which remained number 1 in sales for several weeks.

His novels are known for an atmosphere of mystery and intrigue with excellent use of cliffhangers. His style is agile and direct, far from pretentious.

In 2025, he launched the Inspector Somoza saga, which will consist of several books in the psychological thriller genre.

The first of these books is La Noche de San Juan, published in January 2025.

He enjoys reading suspense novels. His biggest influences include: Freida McFadden, Shari Lapena, Lisa Jewell, Claire Douglas, Javier Castillo, and Agatha Christie, among others.
